Amazons

The Amazons are parrots that are highly appreciated for their predominantly green beautiful colours, their ability to learn to speak, in short, they are beautiful players. They also have a great capacity to adapt to their new habitat. We can describe them as intelligent bon vivants. It is true that in their hormonal phase they can sometimes be noisy and jealous.  Amazons are raised by their parents until they are 3 to 4 weeks old. After that they are ringed, tested and further raised by hand. They eat independently at an age between 3 and 4 months.
